I’m Angelica Lopez, a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and art educator from Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas. As a first-generation Hispanic graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in Art Education, my work reflects how I see and feel the world through stillness, composition, and emotion.

I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of a single second- that fragile, in-between moment we often take for granted. In my photography, I try to hold onto those seconds: the exact light that falls, the quiet pause before movement, the unspoken feeling that can’t be repeated.

For me, photography is both observation and reflection— a way of looking with intention and finding meaning in the ordinary. Each image I create is a reminder that there is beauty in stillness, in the simple act of noticing, and in allowing time to stand still just long enough to be felt.
